2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

I like to think I give anyone who turns out for us a fair go.

Especially in this era where they've played for a side almost constantly under pressure and often under mgt / squad flux, and with some absolute triple hangers on knocking around training sessions.

Like DCL, I think that's been tough on Keane ( it has been on all players of course ) , but for those in crucial positions I think the pressure has been too much for long spells and exposed the player's weaknesses or at least limitations. All players have those.

I hope he moves on. He'll cope with championship very well and still add goals which the lad has an eye for.

He's helped in some way Everton survive the most awful period of ownership I can recall. I don't think he's a regular, I don't really know what he offers as a stand-in vs a younger player.

Good luck Michael.

He's not good enough,he's never been good enough.

We could bring in a low fee youngster from the lower divisions ala Branthwaite & Stones and nurture him instead of keeping one of the worst defenders to ever player for the club.
This a million times over.

Go and get another Jake O'Brien, job done.

I’ll take a young, up and comer or even a kid from our academy over a never was like Keane as back up - he’s been finished here for about 5 seasons.

Was never good enough.
