Fixtures

Everyone always wants the so called rubbish club 1st, or the newly promotd team. then moan when the other lot get them. We finally get them and we are acting like they are the new Barcelona, surprised if they have not already, that some are not saying Gnonto will score the winner v us
Perfect slot to start, knowing the other scores will set the GD-target and after that it's a matter of "so long boys, how's our tail lights looking?"

More fixtures than ever will be moved for TV this season. I'm expecting our Brighton game to be moved to Sunday at 11am or something equally ridiculous. They literally don't care about the match-going fans.

The real downside of this is that, should our first game be moved to a 12.30 kick off, or to a Monday night, there won't be a full house for our opening match at the new stadium, cos there's no way Brighton will sell out their allocation, even if they give us half of them back.

Even more so because of the teams involved in Europe, let alone the TV companies' wishes.

As much as I would like to agree with you, it must be pointed out that our record at Elland Road is awful. Getting a win away to Leeds would be an excellent result in my opinion.

Havent lost there in the league for 24 years!

Last 5 league games
P5 W2 D3 L0

Only loss was when we played in the cup and we played that kid from City, who was from somewhere like Guinea, and everyone missed the opening Leeds goal cause the Police were being idiots.

Francisco Junior or something? 😅

Brighton last few years have taken the mick coming up to Goodison so hopefully they're not as comfortable at BMD.

I can see draws and wins. Wolves had a really poor start last season and are selling key players again so that is a winnable game.

Far more confident in starting a season under Moyes than Dyche who had the mentality seasons only started in October for some bizarre reason.

Something like 5 points from first 3 would be more than fine, can do better than that of course.

It won't be Monday night as league cup is the following week.

The extra TV games is more showing all the Sunday 2pms live and there will be plenty this season with pretty much half the league in europe.
