Forest home and away in December is unusual.

I hadn't noticed that - very odd indeed. I am pretty sure that we have played teams home and away in the same month before, but that is usually after fixtures have been rescheduled due to clashing fixtures - not due to scheduling from the outset.

First game is away because we’ve been home the last couple of times.

It doesn’t really though matter does it?

Ideally, going on our recent poor form at home, we`d probably been better off playing all ours games away from home.

To be honest I didn’t know who it was that said it that’s why I didn’t mention a name. But I would’ve thought that if the request had been made it would reflect in the fixture list, of course they could still move the Brighton game I suppose

Leeds are properly rubbish so that’s a really good start for our season where we return to European football.
A bit annoying we have wait for Monday night but 3 or 4 nil is what I expect.
Then, our new theatre opens, teams will not cope with it

As much as I would like to agree with you, it must be pointed out that our record at Elland Road is awful. Getting a win away to Leeds would be an excellent result in my opinion.

1990 was the last time we face a newly promoted leeds in the first game.

Lost 3-2 at home.

2000 we lost the season opener at Elland road 2-0.

Time to reverse it.

We're winning that opener. All set up for Sky to be creaming themselves over Leeds back in the big time and we'll pummel them. Early goal and knock the stuffing out of them on our way to a 4-0 away win.

Honestly, if we’re worried about facing Leeds before our summer of transfers has even begun, just relegate us now.
