I think the opposite "final" would have been much better. Barca/Ajax. And both SHOULD have gotten through if not for epic collapses on both ends. That final was diabolical.

But take away the wages and fee, despite hitting 30 he's still probably one of the best midfielders in the league.
Unless he's dived off a cliff with personal issues, the fact he's fell out of favour with a deranged obsessive manager doesn't mean he's turned into a bad footballer.
So if the Friedkin's want to go all in...I'm all for it. He's a world away from spending £50mill on the Icelandic Babysitter - isn't he still our most expensive signing?

Can’t happen can it ? Given the thin nature of our squad there is a lot of work to do to get even a full squad together. I suspect keeping DCL and Keane would have helped free up funds if on reduce salaries as suggested.
Good news is that we do not know how much annual cost has been taken away by debt restructuring and how much additional income is coming in through the stadium.

I think that was his point. Limpar is quite a bizarre player. Was he a success? He didn't do much for long but he produced 4 or 5 of the best individual performances I have ever seen from an Everton player, was the key player in our FA Cup win, together with Andrei ran rings around the [Poor language removed] at their place in a manner which has never been seen since then disappeared. Everton that.
