Hopes for next season.

Hope to finish in top 6 (top 10 more like)
Good run in the cups

My main concern is with our need for so many players it will take time to bed them in. We aren’t really known for getting players in early in the window and seem to leave everything till the last minute (probably due to financial restraints and usually waiting for the tv money to come in) We should be looking to get these players in early and get them playing together in pre season to try and iron out as many kinks as possible. Its no good bringing them in late and then just throwing them in first game of the season and hoping it clicks.

Tbf, going on past seasons, we'll be 3 games in before we sign most of the players we need.

That mickey mouse tag came from a liverpool player who was trying to play down us getting to the final
Against Villa in 77
Unfortunately many would seem to agree with the description. it beggars belief how woeful we have been over the years. I'd rather win the FA Cup of course but it would be a start. Hopefully winning silverware will become part of our DNA moving forwards.

Top half. Good run in both cups.
That's my take on it, too. Whilst I would love to see a European spot and/or some silverware, I am being realistic in that we will need to build on this year first.

We had a pretty lacklustre squad overall, and with departures it will depend on how much we're able to build this summer. I would take a comfortable season!

Realistically, I'd say break into the top ten and have a good run in both cups. A lot will depend on the squad we end up with and how the players adapt to our new home. I'm not expecting any kind of instant success trophy or European qualification wise, just some signs of progress from this season.

It depends on when we get the players in. If we get our business done early I'm hoping for a top 10 (maybe top 8) finish. If we leave it till deadline day (as we usually do) I expect a difficult start of the season and probably a finish somewhere between 10 and 14.

All depends on the recruitment and then comparing us to other squads so impossible to say at this stage. Hopefully mid table as a minimum with the hope of pushing for a European place and maybe a shot at a cup. Then there’s the new stadium to consider. Will it be a positive or a negative one in the short term?

Top half (10th would be fine), a cup run (quarters at least). An increase on the 48 points we gained this season.

But what I really want is to see some progress in terms of attacking threat that we can add to the solid defensive base we have.
