remember when victor pereira got nominated for manager of the season for saving wolves from relegation

pereira got appointed on 19th December 2024 - wolves prem record: -

played 22 games - won 10, drew 3, lost 9 - total points = 33

33 points in 22 = 1.5 ppg

moyes got appointed on 11th January 2025 - everton prem record: -

played 19 games - won 8, drew 7, lost 4 - total points = 31

31 points in 19 games = 1.63 ppg

Yes. I doubt he would have fouled him if he didn't think he would score. Could have injured him quite badly as well.

This was probably the only decision he got correct all game.

Football is not what it was. For all the apparent improvements that money has brought in and the extra athleticism on show, it is a poor reflection of the genuine contest it once was ...
