This is it. If you are going to back Moyes, back him to the hilt and demand the best he can get us. That should be Europe. Top 10 doesn't cut it. We should realistically challenge for a European place next season if the Friedkins are any cop.

Obviously it’s not straightforward, but with some quality and no European distractions why can’t we challenge for Europe and even top five next season?

Definitely the 31 points won on the pitch is over performing with this squad. Would already have been happy if he got us over the 40points mark by January.

I hope we can keep on doing that, but a big change in squad is never to underestimate, might take a few months/weeks to click in.

But you’re not allowing for the fact that you’re a clueless divi, are you? This isn’t FIFA. If you think someone else could come in and do better than top half (realistic expectation) based on this starting point, then please name them. Of course you won’t. But carry on crying. 31 points from a possible 57 with this squad is unbelievable.

The Moyes that manages us now, has ten years more experience than last time having managed abroad and having won a trophy. He is now managing an Everton who wont be bargain basement for ‘value’ signings year after year as we will actually have money to spend. It will be interesting to see what he does from this point on over the next couple of years.
