2024/25 David Moyes

62 points this season would have put us in 8th and just outside the European places which I'd be absolutely delighted with. Even with the investment of a few better players this team isn't ready for Europe so I'd happily settle for 8th next season.

This season , yes. In other seasons I think 62 would be enough to get 7th.

I agree in general though, I would be made up with 8th next year is it is a sign of improvement . And then go again from there. Big summer ahead, let’s get it right.

He has done very, very well. I thought he would keep us up comfortably but he has done considerably better than that.

What is impressive is the end to the season when they could have been in full holiday mode, the away wins, particularly today, and coping with injuries.

Today's win is significant for him, in the context of his two spells here it is as good an away win as he's got.

TFG can be very pleased. He has answered the doubters, myself included.
His was the head on the block since January. The greatest tribute that can be paid to David Moyes now is that the head on the block from here until August is Dan Friedkin's.

Let's be seeing the colour of your money, Daniel!

Can’t get over that deserved win today. With all the emotion of last week to go and do that today against a team who had everything to play for and just last week with a win at Arsenal could’ve been playing to finish second in the league today. No mean accomplishment. Absolutely class. David Moyes last day record as Everton manager feels like it’s pretty good. He’s obviously not here long term this time. Let’s hope that the chap who replaces him doesn’t rip us apart like Martinez did.
