2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

Concerning that an offer was made to keep him but hopefully it was made with a view to him being more of a squad player anyway.

I should imagine the offer was in keeping with his age and ability (so about 40k per week) but then had to work out his worth to the side (so they upped it to 65k per week) which was just over 65k shy of what he was looking for so turned us down

never the best
But his effort and passion for the club
Makes the likes of dcl look like thief’s

Nah not for me, the fella threw in the towel under Lampard which shouldn't be forgotten.

For all of DCLs faults, he's always done the best he can, granted hasn't always been good enough. But if DCL leaves today, I'd wish him all the very best..

I'll wish Docuoure all the best too, but I won't be forgetting him sitting on his arse sulking during a pre match warm up. He was fortunate Lampard got sacked because he would have been shipped out of this club and probably would be at West Brom on 25k a week the last few seasons.

Wouldn't mind betting that you are probably within 10% of the actual figure offered.

Glad he's turned it down. It's an opportunity to rebuild and be less reliant on such a technically poor player.
