We were fourth bottom under Dyche and never looked like winning a game, therefore I would treat everybody as above us other than Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton for the purpose of comparison this season.

Even Southampton who were much lower than us at the time, beat us under Dyche. Their only home win of the season.

The problem is Moyes didn’t win us the league this season. I think that, had Moyes won the league for us this season, a lot of those who are uncertain about him would be happier. But then… we’re not gonna win the Champion’s League either. So that’s a worry, too.

Overall he has done well. The obvious question, as it has always been, is how he transforms us into a top 6 side.

It is, but that is realistically a question for several years time. Next realistic aim is to get towards the top half really.

He did the job this season, and has set the team up to go into BMD with a positive and optimistic outlook.

Now the real work starts, by all accounts he WILL have a much better squad next season, so he will well and truly be judged on 25/26. If the club competes for europe, he will stay his last season, and if its a disappointment I have no doubt TFG will move on at end of year.

Im gona have a shot in the dark guess here and say we wouldnt have been battered 4-0 by both United and Spurs under Moyes.
They are exclusively straight out of the Sean Dyche book of sh!teness.
