Ha I love that first comment about McCartney, pretty sure there were no armed convoys when he was stood up at the Glastonbury sign (a completely public part of a festival with 200,000 people) with one security guard, nor when he played the Co-Op in December

Sure, but it should at least be reserved for occasions where the team have done the coub proud. This side have done nothing, absolutely nothing to warrant being honoured. Their home record in this final, historic season at Goodison has been nothing short of shameful. Even by the piss poor standards we've had in recent years its been absolutely unacceptable. There's a couple of players who deserve better but for the most part, that whole side is an utter disgrace to the shirt.

I agree last decent season we had was 2013/2014, where I was genuinely proud with side. Even though we qualified for Europe under Koemann, some if our performances that season were unforgivable. Celebrating failing to win more than half of our games at GP is ridiculous.
