Well he partnered Allan ffs , he can’t play on his own, Gomes was injured quite a bit and Gylfi is a number 10, so not that many

Iroegbunam and Armstrong should be getting time ahead of him

We should sign another CM like Rigg or Neil

All will be on lower wages, all better technical players than him, all younger with higher ceilings and resale value

Also Doucoure was limited to chasing the ball and players down and pretty much never anything more, a literal water carrier. He was barely involved in any attacks, and had little to no impact going forward, but his defensive stats were great.

We do need a player like that, Gana is very similar in that regard, but we also don't play Gana behind the striker. Oh yeah and he can pass and trap a ball.

Which is odd - calmer passing/on the ball ability usually becomes better with age as the physicals go slightly. The fact his technical ability is atrocious means he never really progressed at all somehow. Quite odd, maybe he should've been learning to pass the ball instead of sitting on it.

It’s a disgrace how he starts every week. I don’t care how important goals he’s scored have been I can’t stand him, should never of been playing to get the goals in the first place.
