Now that we know Goodison is still going to be hosting Everton games for the foreseeable future, are people still going to be hanging around the ground on Sunday?

It's a very good question.

It's a yes from me , however some of the emotions and intensity of the occasion is lost knowing that thankfully Goodison won't be demolished and will be preserved and I will be able to revisit the stadium to watch football.

But, it's still the end of an era.

Think it’s been mentioned before but id want no refrence to them lot on the day therefore i wouldnt want ‘its a grand old team..’ on the pa system. Just my opinion

Its definitely going to happen but so long as the vast majority keep the idiots (who are talking about breaking in) in-check then It should be a fun occasion.

I can only speak for myself but yes as this is my goodbye as I have no intention of going back there to watch the women or for anything else.
Plus it’s saying goodbye to the people who sit around you who you’ll never likely see again.

Just a joke. 😆 On a more serious note, I wish there were no LFC references in there though - would love to purchase that and put it on my wall.
If you've got £45 to spare you can buy a copy

I think the question is aimed at people without tickets. Obviously for people with tickets it’s still the same situation really, but for those without the situation has changed quite a lot. There’s no real need to go sand say goodbye anymore, because although the men aren’t going to play there anymore, you can’t actually see who’s playing anyway and so it makes no odds. The ground itself will be there for the foreseeable future so the only reason to go without a ticket on Sunday now is to be part of the party.

Not sure if it is true or even possible, I have heard someone ([Poor language removed]) has sold his season ticket twice for the last game, once with the physical card and once the virtual ticket, so maybe a warning to anyone buying a ticket on the black market (if it’s possible!)
