Anyone read Duncs book yet?

Love Dunc, NEA.

As many have said a hero to a generation of Blues, when we had nothing, he was our something.

Cant wait to read this.
I actually at the time preferred Paul Rideout and later on Kevin Campbell. There was even a time I preferred Graham Stuart, maybe they weren't matchwinners but they were reliable and never left the team with a man less.

Rideout gets nowhere near as much acclaim, given he actually scored a cup final goal.

The way he tried to blag the Everton job when he knew he was tripe at managing sickens me more. That's how much he loves Everton.

There's some right chancers who've attached themselves to this club: 'Big Dunc', Andy Gray using Everton to get his Sky contract upgraded; Moyes getting his arl feller, Wor Kenny and Charlie Adam a gig; Sharp stuffing his ill-gotten board salary in his account before he was run out of town by fans.
You missed off Dyche getting his gig reading the AutoGlass adverts. Sad to see it.

That show with Gary Neville, Jill Scott, Roy Keane and Ian Wright was embarrassing, Whilst Duncan was engaging, the first half an hour went through each one of his red cards which about sums up his career.

He was a bit part player in that cup run, who's contribution was an inconsequential 4th goal in a 5-0 rout of Norwich in the 5th Round.

There were plenty of hero's for the kids of the early to mid 90s to look to besides him. That 'only hero we had' myth needs nailing.
He was man of the match in the quarter final, a very tough game against Newcastle
