2024/25 Beto

Dom, Dom, he's our man if he can't do it Beto can.

We can't rely on Beto to get us to January.

Sure Beto will fix it all mate...

It's OK mate we'll lash Beto there and be sound. He'll slot for fun with all the chances we're creating won't he?

He would.

And in more than Beto would.
You absolutely have not rated Beto, at all. You've said, repeatedly, Dom is the better striker. Beto, in half a season, has scored more than Dom has in any year since Carlo. It's not even debatable, he's massively a better striker.

At the same time he’s in a cack team with a midfield starved of creativity. What if we had midfielders who could play football. I’d keep and let Dom go.
Delap has 12 goals, just a few more than Beto. He’s on a cack club. Beto has really only gotten to go at it a half season. Yet we debate whether to sell him and lots of hopes and dreams and wishes for Delap. Another thing to consider with Delap, he is one of the most booked players in the league. We need aggressiveness, not hot-headedness. I think Beto is more valuable to Everton than Delap if it came down to one or the other. Having both is a different story.

I get the comments/opinion around his all round game, but;

17 starts.
10 goals.

I mean, if he went and hit 20 for a Leeds United, we could look a little ridiculous.
Have been saying would sell over dcl but well how can you argue that, problem has been here always lookijg for the cf to hold up be a target man. But wouldnt be a bad idea have both profiles at the club,

I still do.

I still think Calvert-Lewin is the better overall footballer. So does Moyes - Beto wouldn't have got a sniff without him getting injured.

But guess what? Despite, as you said;

I don't have a clue what Beto even is lol. He's just so lanky and moderately uncoordinated.

You know, you'd think the club would prioritize SOMETHING when trying to bring in a striker, right? Like being blazing fast or shooting from distance or being a Tim Cahill.

Does anyone have ANY idea what Beto and Chermiti are meant to be good at?

... I'm not blinkered and I've dug out some stats to present a very valid question around Beto.

How many starts/how many goals?

At some point, you have to factor in, that maybe;

1. time to adjust to the league
2. playing with better players in a more attacking team

A big call for the club to make this summer with him.
