New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

That's doesn't really scan tbh, that they didnt like the design... LoR would have only installed first fix electrics to all the retail and front of house areas that are yet to be finished, so there'd be no change of design, as such.

There would have to have been a redesign or change of use as a whole to entire areas for the electrical load to be insufficient.

Anyway, I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I didnt say the electrics were part of any delay. I said they was called back because one of the boxes theyve gutted and redesigned. So the electrics had to be redone. He finished in December and had to go back this month to do it again.

But the box would have been left at first fix in December as that's the stage LoR were contracted to deliver to. It may be that the firm he works for were novated to do the fit-out and a redesign has happened since, but there would be no 're-work' required, because a box with 5 ceiling lights woud be supplied by the same first fix design as a box with 25 ceiling lights.

A redesign may have happened, but unless it was a complete change of use, no electrics would need to be 'redone'. It may be delayed though, Im not contesting that.

Im not an electrician so I havent got a clue. But he is and his exact words were "weve gone back to do it again cos they have competely gutted it and started again".

There has been a rethink on the lounges. That's meant people have had to come in to help with the new fit out, including sparks. Just because the box is in doesn't mean you wouldn't have electricians in to sort things out during a refit. What trade do you think would sort out new electrical fittings if not electricians? Not sure what your point is?

Anyway, they've already told the police and fire brigade about the delay to home games. Clearly you know more though....

People have been posting here to share and the likes of you go mad and sh1t all over it. I wonder why people even bother.

Who's going mad? Ive never said there is no delay, there might be, I dunno. However, the reasoning on the post I replied to doesn't make sense. LoR were contracted to do first fix. That means getting supply to a space and rudimental supply fixings. The fit-out contractor then finalises the fixings according to the fit-out design. If that design changes between first fix end and first out start, there will be no requirement for a first fix amendment, that's the whole point of the sequencing.

I even made the point that the lad may have been novated to do the fit-out as a subcontractor.

Got a good friend who is high up in the fire service and he said that’s not true

Doesn’t suprise me, sounds like someone has spec’d ‘their’ box just how they want it. Or maybe Texan Dan wants one and wanted it billionaired.

Apparently things can be done quickly

Cant be done. Commander Steve says there must be benefit cost ratio satisfaction for trams to run from town to Bootle.

Maybe he should get in touch with Coventry City Council to share their intellectual property rights on this solution? (£15M per KM sounds a lot less than the "hundreds of millions of £s" he reckoned up on the back of a beer mat.)

Too busy sending people into space and putting the welcome mat out for union-busting US tech giants probably.

Yeah someone needs to tag him in that Tweet.

He doesn't give a flying one about Everton. He'd have Evertoniann blue badge holders making walking from town to that stadium. He's a health hazard to certain Evertonians.

Wait'll you see him front and centre and all over this Kopite homecoming parade though.

No expense will be spared.

He knows which side his bread is buttered on to get that season ticket at Anfield.

He knows if he actually does his job it will compromise his seat on the gravy train over at the tin mine.

He's actually a massive road block for the progression of the club.
