Was thinking it myself, but then they'd need to prepare the stadium once again, lay the pitch again which likely costs a fair bit. If it's just a few weeks just play the games away instead and bid farewell as planned on the 18th.

It can't take that long for the fit-out, with the time they've already had, but I guess things happen. It's often the supposedly more straightforward elements that can slow things.
