New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Have family who are on site and saying the first 3 games away is definitely hapening and it might be more, they're not convinced that it will be ready before October! 😳
Doesn't matter one jot tbh. Get the players fired up and try and get a few points on the board, knowing that we'll have an advantage of more home games after that. The stadium is for the next 100-odd years, a few games late is ok, totally worth it.

Was thinking it myself, but then they'd need to prepare the stadium once again, lay the pitch again which likely costs a fair bit. If it's just a few weeks just play the games away instead and bid farewell as planned on the 18th. 🥲

All the last game at Goodison stuff would be redundant too.

A delay until September wouldn't be the end of the world, we couldn't be playing more away games beyond the international break though surely.

Guess we won't know for sure until the fixtures are released.

It can't take that long for the fit-out, with the time they've already had, but I guess things happen. It's often the supposedly more straightforward elements that can slow things.

So it was handed over to the club in time by the builders and within a few months of the club running things it’s all gone completely pear shaped?

Good to know that the fundamental uselessness we all know and love has survived the change in ownership.

Having home advantage has n`t worked out the last two seasons. Is it 5 games won at home this season with one to play?

Ha, Everton have only had internal fit out going on for 4 months, so what could have gone so tits up, for it to be running potentially couple of months behind in that short time period! It’s potentially a botch job found from previous contractors, or the current workies have got themselves a Monday - Friday season ticket each in the Bramley Moore boozer
