I think the artists are getting worse and worse by the years.

Depends on what you like and if you keep on top of new music. Lots of great stuff on the undercard and new acts like Black Country New Road have been added.

Looks a little better than last year. A lot of garbage on like Charlie XCX and Raye but these are the times.

Whether you like her music or not it's a bit harsh to label Raye as 'garbage'.

She's arguably the most technically brilliant singer this country has produced, I genuinely don't think I've heard another singer sound as perfect as she does live, plus she performs with a full band/orchestra and could perform with any top tier Jazz band. She objectively has stupid levels of talent regardless of the style of music she makes.

Not my bag at all but you have to appreciate talent. Very successful songwriter too. Plus a genuinely nice and down to earth person in an industry littered with arseholes.

Seriously, how is a company charging that to stay in a 'kin yurt for 3-5 days going bust?

I caught this story, and the fallout with the company that administrates with the firms that run these fiascos. My question is, as the firm took the money for the tickets, whos got em? because the buyers did so in good faith, is the company that's folded keeping them, or have they sold them on again? Whiff of fraud about this. Poor cuthbert and ruprecht.

Glastonbury said Yurtel “had not actually bought any tickets for the 2025 festival prior to entering liquidation, and therefore no tickets were secured for their guests”.

They only went to insolvency twenty days ago, so to leave buying tickets that late suggests they knew they would not be able to fulfil the purchase of said tickets.

Potentially... although the above wouldn't imply it alone. They may mention cash flow issues and purchasing late, however knowing Glasto's security it's dubious.

There's a BBC article where it suggests that really does raise questions: according to a customer, the company had recently obliged bank transfers for payment.

Why not accept credit card? Oh, the Consumer Credit Act (CCA) of course, and the money will likely have been funnelled away. They're meant to do weddings too...

Sad for those involved. My motto though is if you are asked to pay 16k and you're not allowed to pay by CC, then hang up the phone.
