2024/25 David Moyes

We are playing away at 4th in the table who have spent like a £1billion on their squad and arguably should be level based on 2nd half and have taken the game to them.

We gave Moyes a loan deal to try and fix the squad mid season. Honestly, short memories.
Totally agree, mate. Unlimited funds and different PSR rules makes all the difference. I’m all in on Moyes next season and I see our improvement. With any sport you need short memory. Just tired of sitting near the bottom and how we’ve had to rebaseline what we consider success to be.

Heart reaction - stop playing Doucoure ffs!!!!!
Head reaction - thanks for making it so we can go toe to toe with the top five all in a row and be really frustrated we didn’t get more than 4 points even though maybe two of our players get in any of their teams
If in January you’d tell me we’d be disappointed in narrowly missing out against all top 5 teams, while drawing one AND being safe by Easter we’d have bitten your hand off.

We’re not satisfactory by anyone’s standards but we’re a hell of a lot better than we were in November, both on and off the pitch.

The likes of McNeil and Harrison just aren't consistent enough for us to go to places like Stamford Bridge and do more than what we did today. In those positions we need players who can keep the ball 7 times of 10 or at least buy a free kick. The amount of times the attack breaks down do easily isn't good enough for anything other than a team in the bottom half.

They also gave him more than £40m to spend in January which he brought in two starting defenders and a starting midfielder.

We gave Moyes a loan.
He got them organised with the players he brought in.As I said he'd have struggled to do much here without money to spend.

Stand By for Operation Dither.

Moyes, who celebrated his 62nd birthday on Friday, said: “Things don’t happen quickly here [in the English transfer market] but we will have to give decisions very quickly on players. A lot is dependent on, can we get Joe Bloggs to come and sign? That’s what we are waiting on and that’s the point we are at.
Get Joe Bloggs on Moyesy laa!

We did a bit better in the second half with McNeil Harrison hopefully will be back with Leeds.

The smart thing to do is move on the summer. We have money and it’s the perfect time for a fresh start toward a longer term direction. Moyes is not that. And he’s not done well enough that we can’t say thanks and goodbye.

Major work to do. Football has evolved and continues to do so. I hope he can with it, for our sake.

Our team is just workman like. Unfortunately this died out years ago, moving to more technical players. This has now recently evolved from technical players, to quick, physical athletic players. Forrest and Bournemouth are examples of this.

Unfortunately, we have a few technical players, who are slow and not physical.

Physical players who are slow and not technical.

Needs major changes to move this club forward in terms of recruitment.
