Believe this where much resentment builds up about wage. Surely there are professional standards he has to meet as a footballer. I know if I don't do mandatory courses every year and required accredited learning hours that's me contraving the terms and conditions of my job, and my employer is within their rights to serve me notice.
If you want clubs to be able to terminate easily then it's only right that players can move on easily too. The contract protects both parties.

If anyone could get him playing again I think it’s dyche his man management is unbelievable, but when you have the terms imposed in us signing him it’s not going to happen we aren’t paying that kind of money for him. How long has he got left?

I think they r tied into paying a portion of his salary for the rest of their season, if past experience is any judge they arent paying a whole heap anyway. Then he is back to use for 12 more months but we arent going to find many suitors to take him even for a packet of crisps.

He has another season left. There is no way he gets a single minute with us.
Pay him off for circa £5m or he gets some minutes and he costs us £15m+ for the season. Wages and transfer fee.

Best hope we have is somebody else takes a risk on him for a season long loan next season.

I think you are correct but I’ll be very surprised if Levy doesn’t have something in the terms to prevent us doing that without a payout to them too.
Mind you I’d have thought the same about loaning him too.

All those working class Evertonians saving all year to pay off their season tickets in instalments and the club goes and guaranteed this absolute knob head about £10m in wages when everybody could have told them it was destined to be a humiliating fail right from the start.

He doesn't see it that way. He's being paid about £5m per season to play video games. And he'll get the same again next season.
By definition he's having the fans right off. He isn't putting in the required work. I don't know how true, but apparently he's a naff trainer as well, playing video games all day would make you tired.

Crazy world of modern football, this guys thrown the towel in yet still collects millions.

I don't know how true any of it is though so it's just assumption.

Not sure what this has got to do with anything. Signing Dele or not this still happens.

We could renegotiate with spurs. They are getting zero as it is. If it became pay spurs as he plays he could get a look in. But risking a 40m payment on him now is ridiculous. Spreading that over the next 80 appearances gives everyone a chance to reset and pull the plug if it’s not going to happen. This isn’t me thinking it will ever happen for dele btw

With all the stats available today it should be easy to assess effort put in to training sessions. You would have thought it could be a contractual obligation to meet effort targets set by professionally qualified sports specialist.
I guess the issue becomes complex if it becomes one rule for one and one for another in employment law

Atlético Madrid were able to renegotiate their deal with Barcelona over Griezmann. They were previously playing him for 45 minutes a match to avoid further payments. Not sure it would be possible in Dele Alli's case as Levy always drives a hard bargain.
