….regardless of how bad he is, it’s not wise to loan any player to a team who’ll be in a relegation fight with us. Even Everton shouldn’t do that.
Possibly but we need those wages off the books and I don't think we will bring anyone in until people go out first tbh.

Everyone. You can’t move for people saying that we are in desperate need of forwards because our current forwards are so incapable
We bought Mcneil because he cost 5m up front, Maupay was the wrong profile of forward we needed a target man or a wide forward but he doesn't fit our current playing style and we went for "EPL proven" he was probably well down the list after Broja. But they're squad players when we needed a game scorer/game changer having sold our top scorer and talisman Richy. We were again foolishly relying on DCL being fit when he hasn't been for eighteen months. But its not just goal scoring it goes deeper than that who is creating for the forwards our wingers have no assists between them ? We have lost Sig, Digne, James, Richy, Bernard and Dom(injured most of the time) in the last few years all of whom made or scored goals. And because of the mismanagement of our esteemed board we don't have a budget to replace them. It's ok saying we wasted that money but it was also because we didn't have funds and had to structure deals and stretch it further we had to do deals like the Mcneil one rather than Cornet, we couldn't get deals over the line or even afford some players who would make a difference and we have a lack of imagination in recruitment. We need to make two shrewd signings, two loans and maybe a small cash buy this window, a wide forward who can create and score and a target man/no 9, and if we can possibly shift anyone like Keane, we need a creative midfielder because Iwobi can't do it all on his own. It's a very difficult window but its a big window for our survival.
