Sad day, Eskandarian was one hell of a striker when he came into this league and he lead DC United to one of their best runs ever during 2005-2006. Most of his goals were volleys and some spectacular ones at that. Including one against Real Madrid.

Mikkel is amazing, and it's pretty indicative of the quality of the midfield that Spain carries when he isn't selected. Xavi and Iniesta are the best Spanish midfielders of probably their generation.

It is BLUE(y) I've watched Everton for awhile, since following Howard and now Donovan. I enjoy the game you guys play, the attractive passing, fast football that Everton employs. They also appeal to my American underdog-loving side.
