I agree with this when I look at the over financed disgrace that is MUFC.
BUT... Strangely the absolutely disgraceful mediocrity of well moneyed clubs like them, Spurs, City last year is not everything, and conversely creates the opportunity...
Doubt it. Right ego on him. Moyes wouldn't have him.
Also he wouldn't want to come here. He seems to think he's top tier even though he's struggled to hold a starting spot down everywhere bar dortmund
Can see this both ways.
But slotting past Santa Clara and looking good in Portugal does give him a European profile. Slotting 7 for stoke kind of make him not good enough for anyone.
Stoke's manager is Mark Robins who is credited for making Gyökeres (and Adam Le Fondre) the player he is. Sometimes plying your trade in the Championship can be good for your career, it's a very competitive league. Much more competitive than what...
Unless he has said he wants to go play in the Championship, at this point I would look to send him out to Portugal or Spain with a view to maximising a return on him. Not sure sending him to say a Stoke is going to be good for his career.
This isn't up for debate he has scored some great goals..it's his carry on the other end,he's a defender who can't defend.
And his goals and usually just ones he's having to cancel out for his mistakes the other end.
I hope so, they'll do ok... Both CB's got a goal in em and all those guys at some point scrambled Everton over the line, when the writing was on the wall after higher spending mgt and higher paid players.
I like to think I give anyone who turns out for us a fair go.
Especially in this era where they've played for a side almost constantly under pressure and often under mgt / squad flux, and with some absolute triple hangers on knocking around...
