Was Marcel Brands a good choice for DOF? POLL

I think this Summer could be key, he could prove his worth with the current state of the market. Big challenge for him to navigate this Summer with little budget and a lot of dead wood, let's see how he gets on.

Time to exercise our statutory rights here I say 'Under the Consumer Rights Act, your consumer rights may allow you to get faulty goods repaired or replaced for free up to six years after purchase, although the longer you have had the goods the progressively more difficult it will be to show...

Interesting that this is a different injury though, which, is slightly positive if nothing else. Achilles injuries are desperately hard to overcome though so concern would be that this lad is in deep trouble with recurring muscle injuries. It's really unfortunate and nobody could've predicted...

Know nothing about the player but apparently a reliable source.

If we continue with 442, I'd agree, but hoping Carlo is planning on switching it up. We need three in there, when was the last successful 442 team?

The Echo ran an article last week basically saying our transfer plans have been interrupted. Will be a case of loaning players and selling before buying due to Covid - as will happen at many clubs this Summer. I can see a lot of teams taking the Italian (skint) strategy of loaning a player for...

Rabiot linked again. "Recent reports indicated he was not happy at being forced to take a pay cut, while the club were displeased by his apparent lack of desire to return from isolation early like other players at the club." SWERVE

Koopmeiners may be decent, but lets not forget Davy was Ajax captain, won Dutch footballer of the year and was a regular for Holland.

Unless Roma are forced to sell for financial reasons, can't see this happening. He's from Roma, gone through the youth system and re-signed for them a couple of years back. Read a while ago that he said his dream is to go on and captain them - which he's next in line to when Dzeko moves on.

He is, however, proven quality. Gabriel has had one season at the top, same with Todibo (who look really shaky against Dortmund yesterday). Koulibaly is 28, we'd get 5 years or so out of him if he keeps himself in shape. He'd also be a huge help to the likes of Holgate. If we can get him it's...

We have enough positions that need sorting out without adding a LB to that list. By my reckoning we need a RB, CB, CM x2, RW to slot into starting lineup in a 4-3-3. Won't be able to secure them all but a good start is imperative.

Players you were happy we signed but turned out to be pants, and vice versa.

Idrissa Gueye up there for me. Wasn't keen on signing a relegated Villa player who i'd never even heard of that season to be truthfully honest. Will go down as one of our best centre mids of this century for us. Duelofeu the opposite. His permanent transfer was so disappointing but happy that...

I imagine you've watched him closely this season at Schalke then? I'd like to hear reviews of his first season as a first choice RB rather than people judging him based on performances over 12 months with 4 different clowns in charge of the club.
