Said it in the Summer thread but as a 4th choice it's fine. Not many of us like him but we can't fix all our problems in one window and unless Branthwaite leaves, CB is one of the positions where we don't need to prioritise until next summer.

If it wasn't already clear, it should be crystal clear now that he'll ultimately end up staying on a reduced terms contract. They're obviously just tying up loose ends before announcing it.

Someone you have never met, someone who had no idea whatsoever of the transfer or even the first contact with Charly Alcaraz who isn’t Angus Kinnear, Billy Mckinlay, Leighton Baines, Alan Irvine or David Moyes and has NEVER sat in a room with any...

I hope all the tough guys on here can articulate their inevitable mental health issues as well as Dominic, I also hope they have friends and family around them more informed and educated than they are. Whether you agree or not this fella in his...

The best way for TFG to show ambition is not by going on some random Moshiri transfer splurge to win newspaper headlines in my opinion. They need to show ambition by building stronger foundations in every area of the club on and off the field...

Not sure about the Thelwell bit at all, but it's your opinion. Thought he done okay under tough conditions of having to cut the wage bill and our cloth to suit.

Just remember that not one single “ITK”, patreon grifter, or “journalist” had any inkling whatsoever about Charly Alcaraz at the end of January. They were too busy throwing names around pretending they knew more than nothing. All we are seeing is...

Think a lot of sentiment at the moment is driven from fans expecting he'll leave. Personally, I hope Moyes can convince him to stay.

If we have money to replace him and everyone else with our first choice targets, great, let's do that. What you have to ask yourself is would you rather use up £10-15m of the budget on a 4th choice CB or have that to go into the pot to get the...

Agree 100% mate, good post. I think we’re in danger of under appreciating him and not realising what we have, rough edges and all.

"why are we obsessed with always going back for the same ones we've had before?" We literally only had Mangala for about 2 months and he was superb for us

For me Mangala is a no-brainer on loan providing he's able to get back to fitness somewhere near the start of the season. Lyon will want to see him get fully fit, and given they were previously open to selling him, would probably jump at...
