I agree but as I said, you're more than free to go there and explain this to said locals, it will not go down well :lol: They were up in arms about the farms off the coast and those aren't impacting their lives, more/closer inland is a no-go.

But private land, "they make a lot of noise", etc. Uist had a rule of no one selling their land(s) to corporations or to people who might want to build turbines because of it. I'm not saying it makes sense, I'm saying it's how people there are.

Hebrides are great for wind - I encourage you to physically go there and tell any local your feelings about wind turbines and you'll quickly see why they're not everywhere :lol:
