I tried on both.
The pro shirt is very light but feels very cheap. the ironed badges feel like they will fall off in a few washes. The players get a brand new shirt every game.
The ‘replica’ is a slightly thicker but still breathable material...
Without having a non-pro version to compare the actual shirt materia I would suggest saving your money and getting a standard non-Stake version if they're still selling them (apparently the non-sponsored versions are limited). For all I know...
Every "pro" version only has heat applied crests, logos, etc.
Adidas, Nike, Puma, … it‘s all the same.
The reason is that it reduces friction between the shirt and your skin which can lead to an uncomfortable feel while playing or even lead to...
Sounds daft but it's minor little inconveniences like this that do my head in; I say get rid and be done
The family I mean.
Obviously keep the t- shirt as it's a collectors item.

The sponsorless version may actually be nice
I don't really get the big deal about badges being a 'sticker' to be honest. Rubbish if it peels off easily obviously, but as long as it doesn't I don't see why it's such a big deal. Most people I see at the game wearing Montirex, North Face...
Yet they're still huge worldwide...
I get the impression that a lot of the vitriol comes from the fact that, in the grand scheme of things, they have no real 'history' and/or 'prestige' in relation to other popular sports brands, which seems to...
