Went ahead and purchased Premium seats. Thanks.Ticketek seem to be offering "Everton" tickets, guess they just hope if you buy them you are an Everton supporter. Don't need any proof you are a Blue.

Very loose definition of a sprint from some.
You were right. They’re at a private high school in Northern Virginia
…the club posting clips of pre-season training & it’s looking intensive. Doucoure & Godfrey proper athletes, Mina bringing up the rear. Very hard work.
Pre COVID Godfrey would be huge, especially if Franks going with three.Mina was out on his arse at the end wasn't he lol
Godfrey looked miles ahead of most, same as Iwobi, proper stamina and energy levels.
Impressive sprint by Dele on one of the clips as well at the end.
Looks like they're getting worked really hard, Tarkowski looks like he wouldn't say its tough if it wasn't. Good signs. They sounded a lot more vocal than usual as well, something I've always been critical of within the squad.
Not likely but wouldn’t rule it out. MLS is probably between high-League One and bottom half Championship in overall quality but is steadily improving. The retirement-league thing is still a thing but less so- good piece in the Guardian re: Bale needing LAFC more than they need him. Rooney’s right when he says it’s a better league than people think especially with the travel and extreme weather differences- might have to play in freezing Montreal and then fly 6 hours to play in Houston three days later. It’s physically tough. Gerrard for one couldn’t hack it.I was. Wondering if there are any players from the USA who we might be interested in , that we will come across in these games?
Maybe Frank and his staff will finally whip Mina into shape so he doesn’t get hurt?Mina was out on his arse at the end wasn't he lol

Tarkmeister General should be captain imo. Can be our captain for the next 3 seasons easily.Mina was out on his arse at the end wasn't he lol

Can confirm. Just got back from DC and it's like walking through soup. So hot and humid.Washington DC is as hot and humid as the space behind satans nut bag. It’s a depression and a swamp (literally) so just disgusting even as compared to surrounding areas. The humidity sticks to you like a second skin. That’s some tough conditions for vigorous training.
Baltimore is 40 miles north and on the ocean so although still hot in the summer nowhere near as bad.
Like this comment as it's level headed. I would also say I am not the biggest optimistic when it comes to MLS, but the academies are kicking out a few good players. I like Paxton Aaronson and Jack McGlynn from Philly. I think they have a bright future beyond MLS.Not likely but wouldn’t rule it out. It’s strengthened its pipeline of players from Central and South America and the quality of the American player pool continues to get better as the youth coaching improves. Adams and Aaronson, just signed by Leeds, started at NYRB (under Thelwell) and Philadelphia Union. Canada has gone from having almost no footy presence to producing some good talent too. The middle of the bell curve of MLS players is not PL quality but the top ~ 20% worth a look.
Anyone good enough to play PL first team minutes is already on the radar of PL clubs. Arsenal just signed Matt Turner from New England Revolution. If we came across anyone worth looking at it would be probably be younger and a development project. Such players, like Aaronson, Adams, Pulisic etc have been going to Germany as a step to the PL.
where are they training in Northern VA? I live there and might check it out? I worked in dC yesterday and believe me, its great if you are indoors with AC but outside its hot and humid. Still only mid 80's in Fahrenhiet but will top out in high nineties next month. Humidity was around 90% yesterday. Not easy!I dont know the details on where they are training specifically but from what I have seen of HS and college sports in america, they have better facilities than a lot of pro sports in the UK to be fair.
It sounds like they are training twice a day and in between that, they will have the plunge pools/ice baths all ready for them I am sure. All in all, I am happy for them to go over there for the bonding alone and I think the Australia trip later in the year will be a good opportunity to take stock of where we are up to and work on fixing a few issues,
