I’ve always liked Hamilton but he did very well today to avoid sinking to Max’s level. He kept his cool when I thought he may have lost his temper. His performance was exemplary under the circumstances.

If he manages to complete the fight back next weekend then it could quite possibly be his greatest championship win.

According to Horner, both cars are wide there. He ignores completely that Hamilton nudges right because Verstappen has divebombed the inside so he had no choice but to go off the track - e.g. he made no attempt whatsoever to take the corner.

Verstappen is summoned to the stewards for an alleged breach of Breach of Article 2 (d) Chapter IV Appendix L of the FIA International Sporting Code.

This says: "Causing a collision. Repetition of serious mistakes or the appearance of a lack of control over the car (such as leaving the track) will be reported to the Stewards and may entail the imposition of penalties up to and including the exclusion of any driver concerned."

I'm no Hamilton fan, but he is on another level to Verstappen as a driver. He's the best I've watched except Schumacher.

Id say Max is very much on the same level as Hamilton and now even has the edge on him when it comes to raw 1 lap pace. Hamilton is still the more complete driver and has had higher peaks than Max has thus far, but he's also been in the sport a lot longer.
