We looked undercooked straight from the start today.

We were always going to start dropping points at some point and I don’t think anyone would’ve thought we would be top of the league 6 games into the season.

TBF Southampton have not been rubbish. Set up really well today.
Having said that, we have made it easy for them, with our strolling about and lack of urgency.
Far too early in the season to wet the bed and write us off.

Iwobi couldn't control a ball. Siggurdson started okay then hide. Godfrey had a shocking debut.

You ain't winning a game like that.

this is why we have to get shot of the Iwobis / Sigurdssons of the squad and put kids in - yes, they might not have the talent but they will try and seize the chance they are given.

Keane and Mina against pace are simply not good enough as a pairing.

We have got quick centre-backs. Unfortunately one is injured and the other has had to play at RB today.

I appreciate our hands are tied defensively, but it's been a theme all season. Something wrong with how many times they were able to play an easy pass through our midfield.

A game to forget. It is disappointing but we can recover from this lost. Ancelotti will need to analyze the weaknesses we had in this game and make the necessary adjustments so we don't make the same mistakes against Newcastle.
