It'll be interesting to see the results of the first round of tests. Apparently there have been positives. Personally I can't see how they would carry on if there's positives in the peloton. It'll be rife within a few more days regardless of the disqualification of those who tasted positive yesterday.

Astana and Ineos have gone public saying they're all clear.

See the UAE team boss (Sarroni) was pretty scathing about Aru after his retirement from the race the other day, questioned his character and is clearly finished with him.

Not very edifying but Aru has been on huge money since his Grio and Vuelta podiums, well into top ten highest paid cyclists according to some reports, and is obv nowhere near that level (altho he has had some serious injuries). But that's on UAE, not Aru, so Sarroni should prob pipe down with the personal comments.

Good insights from Froome there. Do you reckon Bernal can bust him (Roglic) up in the Alps next week? If it's close by the end I think I'd fancy Bernal on the Planche in the final TT (which looks an absolute sickner).

I honestly don't know. Jumbo have done a lot of work thus far, whereas we've barely seen Amador and Sivakov for Ineos. If they're being saved for the last week then Roglic may find himself without the help he needs. Whoever ends up winning it I hope they put a decent gap into their main rival/s, as it doesn't sit right with me that someone should be leading based upon time bonuses.

Green Jersey comp, bar accident, over already. Sagan already in green, 2nd at the first sprint.
Wrote this during stage 2.
How wrong could I be.
We have a competition for the green this year.
Tomorrow the race reaches the Limousin Region. 2nd half of the stage into Corrèze département is a bit like the Ardennes.
I expect the Sagen hilly TTT set up to bring home the goods for him again.
I'll be spectating on the 4th cat climb out of the valley of the river Vienne. About 50km from where I live.

Sounds good. Are you French Spectateur or did you emigrate there from the UK (if you don't mind me asking).

You'd imagine that's game over? Roglic and Pogacar look quite a bit better than the rest, and the Ineos train has malfunctioned for the second year in a row.
Looks that way - Roglic level above this year. Still expect Bernal to go out on his shield and throw some big digs in the Alps, but he doesn't quite have it this time round.
