The season can be completed, though. This pandemic will not continue forever. There will be a time, not a million miles away, where business returns to normal. At that point, the season can continue.

The authorities may have a deadline where they will declare the current season void, if they are unable to resume normally by that point. Then again, they may not have a deadline whatsoever.

We will simply have to wait and see how it pans out. But for me, there is zero chance of this season being voided. Far too much risk for the Premier League in doing so, far too much paperwork, lawsuits and any decision would probably need the support of Premier League clubs and most would not vote in favour of ending a season prematurely, unless there was some sort of safety concern.

There is only one club that kick up a fuss if this season is voided. Everyone else will be fine.

You can not say there is zero chance of it been declared void when no one has any idea how long this will last.
No one knows how long this will go on.
So there is a chance.

No restrictions on visiting cinemas in Liverpool at present so it seems a bit odd to cancel this viewing of Howard's Way

you can't say it won't be postponed indefineatly when EPL senior people say there is a 75% chance of it not being completed. Life may start slowly getting back to normal again in a few weeks but the whole point of the Govt approach is to drip the spread in slowly, suddenly releasing lots of people to intermingle again in a few weeks will just cause a big spike that will put too much pressure on the system

Hospital staff in Ireland have been told it will get a lot worse. All holiday leave had been postponed for 6 weeks .
And Britain probably reacted slower then here. I would be very surprised If there is a match played before at least 1st of may .

Football is finished mate. There’s more important stuff to deal with. It will be a struggle to start next season let alone finish off this season.

No champions this year, no relegations, no promotions.
