If some of these Atletico fans carry the virus then Analfield will go on lock down and everyone attending the game will have to self isolate. Lock the doors and forget about them.
That place will get it's first proper clean in years

I wonder if they'll get 24 billion fans lining the streets again when they parade their latest piece of silverware. Might as well make some profit off it and get some "KLOPP IS GOD" or "WE'VE WON IT ALL" t-shirts printed and flog um for 20 quid a pop down Annie Road.

If Arsenal aren't allowed to play against City for precautionary reasons, why on earth would the City/Burnley game take place thereafter?

Makes no sense.

City/Burnley wont happen...unless it's behind closed doors.

It makes sense because some Arsenal players were exposed to Olympiakos boss, who is Covid-19 positive. City players have not been.

Given all of the Premier League footballers go clothes shopping together and visit their fancy barbers, etc, it's only right that the league is cancelled with immediate effect as the threat of the virus spreading amongst players and staff spreading is simply far too great.

It should be announced immediately that Euro 2020 will be pushed back until 2021 to allow the domestic league to continue in the summer, providing the virus situation has improved by then.

The Premier League table is frozen as-is, with all teams given chance to vote on whether they would be happy if it was decided that their position now is what's awarded to them as a final league position. If 80% of teams agree, then the league ends immediately, Liverpool are Champions and the current bottom three are relegated. If less than 80% agree to this then the league is cancelled for this season, starting afresh as soon as the virus situation is resolved.

Given that there is no chance of 80% of teams agreeing, I think this is a fair solution. Also, no teams have been confirmed Champions in any league yet, or relegated, so nobody can argue with this.

No chance, they wouldn’t do it for us.
If we can’t win on Monday I hope we at least put a foot in and disrupt their CL campaign via a few injuries. They don’t deserve nice things.

Last sentence in the Sky article about the City/Arsenal game being postponed can’t wait to reassure the plastics that this postponement doesn’t rule out the chance of them winning at Goodison.
Said it a few times already but it’s galling how much they want it to happen, catering only to their tourist fans who all live down south in irrelevant gaffs and foreigners who’ve never even stepped foot in England never mind Liverpool. The twitter accounts ran by 14 year olds in Delhi called something horrendous like ‘@Keitasleftthigh’ will be out in force. I’m not below taking a leaf out of the Hammer’s book of tricks and revive Lasange-gate

Some teams have a much easier run in & some much harder. I don't think it's fair to decide a seasons outcome when a season has not been played.
Just because Liverpool are so far ahead does not mean the same argument can be applied to any other position within the table & what those clubs are each fighting for whether it be a CL spot, a EL spot, a top half finish worth more money or simply surviving & not being relegated. There are too many games left that would still have a big say on 19 of the 20 clubs.
In my mind the only real solution is to use last seasons results to determine who qualified for what as that is the last true yardstick used. Once that is agreed we cancel the season until we know more & push the Euros back a year too to help.
There is no happy outcome. We have a decent run in & could move up the table but to play them is silly. To risk the lives of the elderly by continuing a spread is silly. These people have wiped our arses & our tears, have educated us, have fought for us, have been the support of our parents but let's throw them under the bus for a few more games of football? NO.

We should deffo give them a guard of honour , line up and sing to the tune of Half A Sixpence ....

Half a season can only mean half a trophy
But half a trophy is better than none
It's a token of
What you should have won
When it's far away just get Klopp to say
"Though half a season can only mean half a trophy
Remember than half a trophy is better than none
It's not with you cos of Corona flu "
But Blues know that it's because karma from 1985 has finally come back to yoooouuuu !
