Bernard and Iwobi just don't suit a flat 4 midfield.

It was nice of us to turn up after the second went in though

Dunc hasnt the confidence to change it up - should have been 4-2-3-1

Shown he is nowhere near ready for management yet.

Don't think we've been as bad a some are making out.

They've been clinical - had to deal with that corner an Mina should have scored.

We reverted to type. Slow build up then a hoof.

Started slowly. Didn't get in their faces. Gave them way too much respect.

We can't be too angry here. We have ALL of the following at the same time.

• A Leighton Baines who we all thought would not kick another ball at the start of the season
• A finished Seamus Coleman on the other side
• Michael Keane
• Mason Holgate asked to control the midfield
• Tom Davies given the playmaker role
• Alex Iwobi playing right winger
• Dominic Calvert-Lewin

One of two of above and we might have been able to scrape something, but ALL is just horrible, horrified luck. No other team would do any better.

To think, if we had Walcott and Schneiderlin available we'd all be desperate to get them on - THAT'S how bad it is.

I don’t think anyone’s that angry at the team it’s just so disappointing that we will never win this competition the year we win it will be the year it’s scrapped

Think we've been terrible myself. Losing the ball and misplaced passes everywhere it feels

We have got the excuse of injuries but some of those players out there really need to learn how to be in control of a ball and learn accuracy with passing. Davies never looks in control which is damning for a midfielder. Bernard is nowhere near his best, Iwobi looks devoid of confidence, Keane just can't cope with movement, Baines & Coleman way past there best. Holgate in unusual position, DCL is DCL huff and puff and a nuisance and that is it. Can't really expect too much from that lot on the pitch. We are depleted and it is showing.

Second goal was keanes fault, why is he loosing Johnny Evans ?
If he's closer to Evans theres no goal.

Davies has been sloppy on the ball with some horrible back passes under there pressing.

Iwobi has given the ball away pretty much every time.

We need to Up the aggression second half take a few bookings put in some crunching tackles get the crowd going
Argue every single decision with both their players and the officials don't let anything go.
We can't match them for qaulity but we could unsettle them enough to get a goal from mistakes

Bernard is an enigma hardly in the game.....is he fit?

I desperately want to like Bernard, but he offers so, so little in most games. Doesn't take players on, can't shoot, can't split the defence, I'd a scrawny weakling.

They´ve both been shocking on the ball and failed to make things stick. Iwobi is someone we spent a lot of money on, it´s night like these where you need players like that to step up. He hasn´t.

He hasn't. But who exactly is he supposed to link up with? The only players in our squad who could do it are Sidibe (out) Digne (out) and Bernard (as far away from him as possible).

The only person at fault at the moment is whomever bought Iwobi. Duncan ant the team are at their limit due to injuries and games. It’s unfair to say anything else.

That is what I mean. He is more of a hinderance. Just not a good CB in those situations

Central midfield is dire, mate. As bad as you´ll see from a Premier League football team.

It is, but we’ve got to find a way to adjust the system as necessary. Dunc works with Adeniran, if you don’t have the faith to put him in when we have a few injuries, why even have him on the bench?

Pogba left United because they stuck defenders in midfield rather than play him, what must the young lads at the academy thinking in this situation.

I still retain hope ! Keane off, Holgate into CB with Adeniran on in midfield , Bernard and Iwobi off with Gordon and Kean on to replace them and just go for it, nothing to lose.

That's the spirit. 1 goal and we're back in it! I just question the wisdom of going without sleep for work tomorrow (today) to watch this dross.
