For those fearing we will go down. Look at the table. We are 9th meaning that however bad we are there are many many more teams even worse than us (13th downwards can't go ahead after their game in hand).
Then look at how many points Southampton, Newcastle and Cardiff have got from the total number of games they've played. They all have less points than the number of games played. Even if all 3 improved on that and got 12 from 12 or 13 from 13. They'd end on 36/37.
We need 4 more points from 33 available. There is no way we are going down and if we pick up less than that then we deserve to go down and we will become the worst Everton side for 60+ years. I doubt the worst side in 60+ years would be sat in 9th place at this stage of the season.

We may be 9th at present but given that the 3 teams below us are a point or less behind us with a game in hand we could quite easily be 12th.
Since the ill fated RS defeat there has only been one game we have won comfortably ( Burnley). Indeed we were fortunate to win at Huddersfield and to get a point at home v Watford. The Bournemouth win was touch and go.
The worry is obviously our form. There have been teams in the past who have fallen like a stone from mid table to be relegated. Yes it looks unlikely to be us given the “achievable” number of points likely to be needed to survive.
But we need to show at least more character as a minimum or heaven forbid we could end up as one of those mid table teams that........

On the relegation issue, go back to the relegation thread last year, the same things were being said and we were nowhere near in trouble.
This year our form is worse, but we realistically need 4-6 points from 11 games, and before anyone says “we have the top 6 at home” Southampton have 4 of the top 6 to play.

We need to end on a high, getting into Europe is the last thing we want, few good wins, game time for Mina and Kenny, avoid Europe, and relax for the summer
In points we are much closer to the bottom three than we are to the top six. I don't believe we were ever in relegation trouble, which is an improvement on last year when we flirted with the relegation zone.
