Davies
rooney
DCL
Kenny
Jags
Schneiderlin
Davies needs another season, still a player there just his confidence looks shot
Rooney's gone it looks like anyway
DCL and Kenny look good squad players and will get better
Jags is still our best defender and thats saying something, so can't see us buying 3 centre backs we need just two good ones and keep Jags for fourth backup, Holgate the third
Schneiderlin yeah he can go if we can get a good replacement

What a chance we had to catch up with the teams above us when we got 80m for Lukaku and 50m for Stones. Also Moshiri cleared the debts and gave us a good platform to progress.

Koeman and Walsh have completely blown it on poor players, we've been let down by those two and I can't see us coming back from it for a long time.

We acted like a big club making big money signings, but we complete amateurs!

Moshiri could throw more money at us but why should he? He's learnt some hard lessons this season too. Just hope we can get a decent manager in who wants to play positive football, some good signings this summer for not ridiculous fees and start again.

Therein lies the problem. We didn’t get massively inflated prices for them....we got what they were worth.
To replace Lukaku like for like would cost what we got for him. Same with Stones, especially when we see how bad a thirty odd million defender is in Keane.
Instead, we didn’t replace Lukaku and we replaced Stones with ten million worth of Ashley Williams. Hasn’t worked at all really has it.
The teams we sold our best two players to have finished first and second.
The general rule is that if a better team than us wants a player from us then we need to keep those players even if we risk lowering values, as we can’t ever improve and close the gap on those above us if we have to keep replacing our best players, let alone trying to add to the squad in order to push up the table. If teams like City, United, Chelsea etc aren’t interested in players (like Williams) then we shouldn’t be either if we have any aspirations.

Utterly turd club, run by buffoons and employer of lots of second rate slackers on extortionate wages.

Least we aren’t WBA/Swansea or Stoke

Reality is at the moment we can't compete with City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal, so that rule doesn't work. Don't expect to replace Lukaku or Stones like for like, but go for players with good potential like the Lukaku we got from Chelsea. Gamble on potential talent rather than gambling on Williams, Keane and Sigurdsson who aren't good enough for those teams, never will be and have no resale value.

Resale value is horrible I know, but I don't think we're in a position not to think about it unless someone like Usmanov comes in and makes money no object.

Wake up call to the Everton hierarchy.

If we do not witness a root and branch transformation of our club, it could be relegation next season.

We just bought a load of rubbish and average players for huge amounts of money. Liverpool bought Salah for less than Sigs which just proves how mad our spending was. The failure to bring in a proper striker in the summer was unforgivable that's why we were so rubbish at the start of the season. Look at the 3 teams that went down, they never had a proper striker. Chelsea have missed Costa, United are rubbish with Lukaku and Spurs are rubbish without Kane. We could of quite easily bought at least 2 strikers instead of players like Klassen and Vlasic. Having to play a 3rd choice right back at left back is also unforgivable.
