We have left ourselves woefully short of creativity in midfield but you support sending one of the few players who has actually created chances out on loan. In terms of the "development" argument the last player from our squad I can recall benefitting from going out on loan was Coleman. Between that time and now we have brought a lot of young players into the first team from our development squad without the need of loans in the, as you put it, "unforgiving" championship. As it happens, the loan that Lookman wanted, and Allardyce publicly rubbished, looks like it will help Lookman's development but I fear that we will not be the beneficiaries of that development.
