We must keep this lad he has bags of skill is quick & scores goals...

Can expect more game time next season & if he continues to improve & mature can be a real top player for us...

If he fulfils 50% of his potential aged 25 as it is we would stand 0% chance of him signing same with vlasic so we bought hem young.

Coach them ffs & let’s see what they can become nobody is saying They should play every minute but this utter fraud is ripping any shred of hope for the young players when talking this utter tripe.

Never hated anything or anybody associated with us more than him.

Stories of homesickness, long periods out of the side, I suspect the lad just doesnt like it up North.

Nothing to do with Sam, I just think his whole Everton experience is tainted and he will do whatever he can to leave us in the summer.

It happens sometimes.

Hes a decent player with bags of potential, personally I dont think he has the proper mindset to ever be anything other than a fairly decent player so its not a major loss for me currently, I suppose it depends on how much he kicks on in the next few years.

I guess we wait and see.
So he was homesick north, but he’s not in Germany where he doesn’t even speak the language?

His relative talent is almost irrelevant for me. On one hand you've got a club who clearly think he's doing well enough to sign full-time next year, and then you've got Allardyce on TV with his usual bored as hell schtick saying "told you so lad, you're crap and aren't good enough for minutes in the top flight". I mean ffs. This man is an utter stain on our club.

Without a shadow of a doubt. I would go one step further and say a lot of the younger/fringe players in general, whether on loan or not.

Holgate, before he was injured, was strangely dropped from the starting XI. Both Vlasic and Klaassen are getting no game time despite the injury to Siggy. Martina is on the bench ahead of Kenny. Beni is not getting anywhere near the sort of game time he should be but Davies, who clearly needs a rest has played more game time this season than any other midfielder.

If Allardyce is still here next season I can see Holgate, Lookman, Vlasic, Klaassen all leaving, with Kenny Beni Dowell and possibly DCL all out on loan at championship teams. Martina will be our back up FB, Jagielka, Baines, Schneiderlin, Rooney and Bolasie all starters and we will have a squad of about 19/20 with an average age of 29/30.
No surprise though mate, clear as day based on Allardyce’s track record that as soon as he could younger players would be sidelined. Just hope to god we’ve got a young progressive manager lined up to come in as soon as the seasons finished. No way should we be selling Lookman. This whole situation sums him up, he’s a footballing Neanderthal who should never have darkened our doorstep!

I am not convinced of that to be honest.
I think that Sam has gone for tried and tested and you can understand why. The last number of months has been an audition for him for the Everton job on a longer term basis.
I think that Sam decided on going with experience where possible conceding less goals , picking up points, moving up the table could get him the job long term. I think he has misread the situation after the first four or fives games of his tenure when his role should have switched to showing how he could build a winning team playing football.

I think the wins immediately after his arrival removed relegation from the minds of everybody except Sam , he kept on his tried and trusted formula whereas , we , the supporters were/are looking for something more positive.

I think that if he has a full season ahead of him then I think that if the younger players are good enough they will be played. It is the way with younger players .
Regarding Lookman in particular. I think he may become a good player in time, but is quite a bit off being good enough to play every Saturday yet.
Possibly one of the most deluded posts I’ve read on here. There is nothing in Allardyce’s track record, to suggest that he will ever give younger players a fair crack of the whip. Absolutely astonished that anyone could even remotely think such an average anti-football Manager should stay on at the club past the last game of this season & even more remarkably play younger players!

To be fair Allardyce never said he was crap, he said he wasn’t what we needed at the moment. I took that to mean, in the context of Sam’s other interviews at the time, people who will scrap and battle to get us out and away from the relegation zone. The lad doesn’t work hard enough defensively, he has been picked up on this in Germany by the coach, and we aren’t good enough to play with 10 1/2 men on the pitch.

Spot on
This was the same guy. Who 6 weeks ago said sam can go on to be our general manager lol.
To be fair to @blueblue he seemed to have changed his tune last week and wanted Sam gone.

I’f he does stay abd I won’t him gone 100% absolutely despise the man, there is no way he’s giving youngsters time to bed in next season. With 1 year on his contract he will buy tried and tested. 28 to 30 will be the age bracket. And when it goes tits up we will be left with an old very expensive squad.
