I was in a different frame of mind to you.
I could see that we were awful, I could not see where we were going to pick up the points and if the situation was left drag on it could very easily and quickly get to a point where we would have a real battle on our hands.
A battle that with our squad we would be in a very poor position to deal with.
I thought the board acted promptly .
Oh yeh I see why the board went that way, I'm not criticising that so much, just the last couple of months of nothing games where players could have been tested and the 'tried and tested' gang weren't as necessary.

yeah but its ok cos he'll be replaced with Ashley Young (in 2 yrs) and then we'll buy Rodwell and Fellaini so everything will be just fine.

Hes a decent player with bags of potential, personally I dont think he has the proper mindset to ever be anything other than a fairly decent player so its not a major loss for me currently, I suppose it depends on how much he kicks on in the next few years.
