To replace with more dross/aging players

If he’s not rated highly by Sam then surely another poor Walsh signing...

(I don’t think he’s poor btw, just saying that’s another player bought who’s barely lasting a season under Walsh’s recruitment)

Everton would listen to offers for Ademola Lookman after RB Leipzig revealed they want to sign him on a permanent deal.

But Blues boss Sam Allardyce insists the Bundesliga outfit would have to table an offer too good to turn down for the club to even consider selling the 20-year-old.
Lookman is on loan with Leipzig until the end of the campaign and has scored twice in seven appearances and sporting director Ralf Rangnick confirmed their interest in making his switch permanent at the end of the season.
Rangnick confirmed there is no clause in the loan deal allowing the German side to buy Lookman, who joined Everton in a £10m deal in January 2017, but he says Leipzig would be interested in trying to reach an agreement this summer.
Allardyce admits “everybody has his price” and refused to rule out selling the England under-21 international but stressed the offer would have to be one that makes sense for Everton.

“It depends what we think as a board of directors and as a football department,” he said.

“Where are we going to go if we let him go?
“What are we going to do with the money that we’re going to accumulate from him?
“How much money are they going to offer?

“Everybody has a price so if the price goes to where we think we should accept it then I would recommend it but if the price doesn’t get anywhere near then we’ll have him back here and see how he goes on next season.”

Everton have kept tabs on Lookman using their European scouts and Allardyce says the young winger has encountered similar problems he faced at Goodison.

“He hasn’t played as much as he wanted to,” Allardyce said.
“His gripe with me was he wasn’t getting picked but in all fairness he’s had very limited experience on their pitch as well, hasn’t he.

“So if he wants to go there he may say he’s not played enough football so may say he’s not sure about going there, but if he does we would have to listen to what the offer is and that’s to be done between the board and the director of football.
“When it comes to me and they say ‘it’s this much’ I’ll have my say, they’ll have their say, everyone has a say, we make a decision and move on.”
Who does this oaf think he is?!

Get him out of the club ASAP.

honestly I haven't seen anything massively brilliant in this lad. he has come on and had a few ok games but when he has started he doesn't seem to do much. he may need time I don't know.

we need to upgrade what we have currently as part of the squad aint good enough. is he better than Walcot currently? I can't see it

..I have a feeling that the club are prepared to sell every player currently on loan.

I have the same feeling that those in charge of buying and selling currently are mate

IF they stay in those positions though - I hope not

Because frankly think that Walsh - having worked at Chelsea has this idea he can do the same at Everton - use young players bought or developed as the cash cow to pay for bigger transfers, only differences being - they had a brilliant team when instituting that model, had a stockpile of players they could do it with, and had people in charge of that policy who had the capability of the role.

Walsh is absolutely inept and for me anyway every bit as bad as the likes of Woods, Blue Bill, Earl and all the other free-loaders this club has had for years.

We love to slate the neighbours here, but can say one thing with certainty - they wouldn't and haven't ever put up with the absolute [Poor language removed] show that we have for decades.

This is what you get when you make Allardyce manager of yout football club. This is exactly the reason why he needs to go now. Every day he is here his infestation takes a stronger hold on the club.

In the 7 games he has played a part in - coming off the bench he has earned RBL 4 points, his contribution doing so is the only thing which has kept them in with a chance of CL and finishing 4th still mate

Walsh has to go as well mate, it is as important as Allardyce for me.

Otherwise its like cutting off a finger with has gangrene but deciding to leave the entire infected hand still attached to the body

Allardyce making out he hasn't been played any more than he did when he was here. Total nonsense.

He has been in every match day squad he was eligible for. He has had minutes in nearly all of those including at least 3 starts.

Allatdyce had him fir 13 matches. He was included in 6 matchday squads. He started dead rubber EL game in Cyprus that Allardyce didnt even bother to attend staying at home with his preferred squad for the derby. He got 35 minutes against Li erpool in the FA cup. And he had two short cameos from the bench in league games. So in essence, Allardyce gave him about 35 mins of premier football from the 11 games he was available. And he's now dissing the kid again saying bis move to RBL was a waste of time.

I hate him.

He’s got pace, can finish, can play out wide or at number 10, and is only 19. He’ll go on to be a player as good as Sterling or Sane and we’ll remember the time we sold him because we wanted to give Bolasie a chance.

Everton all over. We are allergic to success in any way shape or form.
