No more excuses. These are the gaps (in days) between our final fixtures of the season:

Two weeks now before Watford, then: 7, 7, 7, 14, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 8 days.

+ We play Liverpool at home smack bang between their quarter final games (they'll beat Porto to qualify) - our game is 7th April, they play either 3/4 and either 10/11 April.

+ When we play City at home they'll almost certainly play a second string team as their quarter final is on the Tuesday or Wednesday after our game and they'll be champions already.

There is no way Rooney cannot recover in a week in between games. We have two full weeks now for Baines and Mori to get up to speed, and Coleman to fully recover.

No 'kin excuses to go defensive in any of these games. Expecting 100% points return from now until end of season, with no goals conceded.

They will still beat us.

Sam will still find a way to make 96372023497 changes before the end of the season.... He dont like no settled sides...

"Keep 'em on their toes you little goblin Sammy lad, while youre at it, swing round the co-op and get some bisto, we're running low" as he gleaming looks at 7000 pints worth of the golden brown granules.....

But, what team is to be picked ?
Are you saying the team against Palace is now the first team and there should not be any changes, what if play a team with a different set up ?

Sam always plays 4-2-3-1, it's just sometimes that number 10 person is asked to play a little deeper, i.e. when Rooney plays there to essentially form a midfield 3 to make it 4-3-2-1, which, despite looking more defensive on paper, actually makes us more attacking as he'll generally take Schneiderlin's role and have Davies next to him too.

BISTO??? BISTO???? nah mate, Sam doesn't go for that fake stuff, he wants proper beef fat gravy, the kind of stuff his arl nan from Dudley used to make....get them drippings in that pan Elsie!

I think he'll start fielding a more settled & familiar side for the next few weeks at least. After that we'll start to see the likes of Baines, Funes Mori, Vlasic & Tosun coming back into the side. Perhaps even Klaassen too.

Only the back four from the Palace game and maybe alternate the striker needs changing for the rest of the season. Every game now if fit we should be playing this team
Pickford
Coleman
Keane
Williams or Jags or Holgate
Baines
Gana
Rooney
Davies
Sigurddson
Walcott
Niasse or Tosun or Calvert Lewin

So if everyone fit 9 of the team should be automatic choices then just alternate the other 2 from the players mentioned above.

^ you're advocating a back pairing of Keane + Williams or Keane + Jagielka!

We'll be in the Championship by June!
