I really don't know if Davy Klassen is good enough for the Premier League, he hasn't shown any great sign of it since coming to Goodison but then you look at him for Ajax both in their domestic league and Europe. I don't think he will get any sort of chance under Fat Sam, he seems the sort of player who needs people running off him so that he can lay off passes. Not the Fat Sam way.
Ramirez looks like a player to play off a centre forward, might suit with Tuson if Fat Sam will ever play two up front.
Personally I don't think either will play much of a part for us, we will buy Tuson stick him up front and fire balls up to him, the other 10 men will all be defensively minded.
If we muster 5 shots on target over the next three games I will be surprised. If we manage to score from open play it will be grounds for celebration.

should really have been given a go in the two games rooney missed, and then again starting yesterday. Our good run under sam has been because rooney is an attacker running from deep, arriving late in the box to score. So when he was out, we went for a totally different type of player, were set up way too defensive and scored 0 in 2 and a half games with a total of 1? shot on target in all that time.

I'd like to see rooney and klaassen fight for that place, we can't rely on rooney constantly, he's getting to the age where he can't be playing 90 mins for 45 games a season and with barkley off, klaassen or maybe siggurdsson are the only players to fit that bill imo.

We'll get nowhere playing a player like mccarthy and his 5 career goals instead. I'd like to see how klaassen copes with an actual striker to link with.

Also he likes to pass the ball to a player in the same, but as nobody else wants it he's a bit redundant.

Shame really as he's probably quite a decent player in a team thats able to play football.

Sad thing is I'm not sure we'll ever find out. I'm not just refering to Sam-ball, just that I have no idea why we brought him and what the grand plan was.

Has been good, but take away the penalties how many has he scored? Also for 150k a week I'd be expecting a player to be available to play 90 minutes once a week. Wayne cannot offer that.
He's scored 3 penalties if I remember correctly. So that's 7 league goals. A good return.

And what do you mean he can't play 90 mins once a week? He has done that plenty of times.
