ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

The RAWK Everton thread reeks of desperation that what's happening at us isn't what every single credible source is saying is happening, will be gold when things start falling in place and that thread just becomes them cry arsing.

Side note though, every now and again when i check that thread on us, it comes back to me that the bloke who started the Everton thread is the same bloke who the other month created an account on here, lied about being an Evertonian, and whilst pretending to be an Evertonian spoke as one of us about seeing evertonians doing chants and other things about Hillsborough and insulting the victims of it etc - until the mods outed him and he ran back their crying about his ban - but not going into any details about why ofc, as their really fond of copy pasting quotes from this site, wonder if this one will end up getting put on their, yeah thought not

That recent article in the Telegraph by Chris Bascombe stating that the signing of Koeman shows that we are back where we belong really got them going. Despite Bascombe being RS though I think they blacklisted him for working for a Murdoch paper (NoW?)

Their transfer targets look to be mirroring what Klopp did at Dortmund in buying or targetting under the radar talent like Grujic Zielinski and Chilwell who are all under 21,if it's so it looks like their much flawed transfer committee has lost it's influence and Klopp and Buvac are the ones targetting these players and taking charge of recruitment.

I don't see Klopp buying the likes of Townsend and Walcott as the papers are laughably saying as both are one dimensional players and very limited technically to play in his system of inverted wide players who can press constantly and interchange in quick transistions and release the ball quickly after the first touch, both are just speed merchants who run to the byline and have awful delivery in the final third.

Klopp if you see his Dortmund team he never actually bought stars and preferred buying under the radar talent that is young and where he nurtered them to be better players and he has a fantastic record with the likes of Gotze Hummels Kagawa Schmelzer Blazykowski Lewendowski Sahin Gundogan Subotic who he bought or brought through very young, and that sadly tells me their transfer committee wasting big money on garbage on the likes on Ballotelli Carroll Lallana Benteke is over as he won't do that and will look to build a team in the next 12-24 months on a core of young hungry talent who will run through brick walls for him like his Dortmund side.

The two have nothing in common. The commentators over here are mostly English -- Luke Wileman and Kristian Jack (who knows jack seeing as he's a Villa supporter). Plus we used to have kopite James Sharman. So they're like all the other English media -- tongues firmly up the Crimson Turds' holes. The reason we get nowhere as a footballing nation (as far as the men go, anyway) is our governing body, the CSA, is a bloody joke, coupled with the fact local and regional associations within Canada are more interested in protecting their own turf rather than making it easier to streamline the better players toward the national program (though that is slowly starting to change).
If not for the fact my father came from Merseyside, I could wonder why England has been nowhere as a football nation for half a century now.
TBF, the CSA aren't overly popular over here either.

Much rather them do that than go out and buy big proven names.

Gonna be funny when our transfer window is 10 times better than theirs.

Buying good young players eh? They really do lead the way when it comes to finding new initiatives in the transfer market that no-one has ever thought of before. Remember 'Moneyball' when they thought up that whole new way of buying players for less money than they sold them for? Groundbreaking. You'd think with that falling on it's ass like they'd just sign players like everyone else.

Yeah, the rebuild continues doesn't it?

Doc.webp
An 'inverted wide player who can press constantly and interchange in quick transistions' as described by the patient is a rare manifestation of too much ingestion of 'gegenpress'. Basically, the disease presents as an under-talented yet over-priced foreign player who is forced to play as directed regardless of success or ability. The illness however is especially useful for the 'dancefest' performed by the manager and squad after home matches to mixed embarrassment. There is no cure unfortunately, though some European stars are, according to media reports, avoiding contamination by simple rebuffal of approaches from Herr Klopp.

I don't think they actually did Moneyball at the R/S as it was impossible to do in football, baseball is a game full of statistics where you can target players from a multitude of statistics in pitching defence and hitting and there is even more statistics on top to really see how a player is in high pressure situations in a game.

In Bill James book the true essence of Moneyball was a way of getting players with low spending for maximum results and these players who were brought in all fit a statistical model for a way of playing moneyball baseball which is a hitting bias philosophy, which was getting hitters on base who don't have to be great hitters like hit for high average or home runs but who are patient at the plate by forcing pitchers into mistakes and getting a walk (free pass) to 1st base, the hitting line up would all have hitters who would do this and pretty much tire out the opposing teams pitcher who would be throwing into a high pitch count because the bases would have 2-3 players on them.

If anything the R/S and FSG most ofall have been the total opposite of Moneyball and just did what the Yankees (using a baseball team example) do by spending boats loads of money and giving out stupid contracts ie Ballotelli Lallana Benteke Carroll being great examples.

All i was alluding to in my last post was they look to have gone away from spending big money and targetting those types of players from age and prior reputation, maybe it's Klopp and Buvac mirroring what happened at Dortmund by targetting young talent for the long haul or maybe they don't have the finances to spend and are cutting back because of that expansive new stand they have to pay for.

They're also £200m in debt and have been saved from a financial quagmire by the sales of suareZ and sterling. Coutinho looks to be the next out of the door. Thank your lucky stars you're a blue as I wouldn't want to be a red these days.

Also for all the hype surrounding Klopp's shrewd transfer dealings and unrivalled man management, he only won the league twice in nine seasons.

Only manager who is more overrated his the FSW.

They've spent 600m in the last 5 years and won one league cup

Hahahaha let's all laugh at Everton

Ticket robbing, paving slab lashing, Munich singing, racist supporting, murdering tits

I love it when Vader goes Dark Side  someone is getting force choked.

WEEV GOT DER BEST MANIGER IN DER WERLD MATE
A manager who has took part in 6 finals and lost all of them. The nazi shanks is a specialist in failure.
