....enjoyed the first episode of 'Inside Obama's White House', very good insight into the workings of government, managing the financial crisis and having to negotiate with Republicans.
Just watched QPR:The Four Year Plan. It's not a classic or even massively insightful doc, but interesting (as we're about to begin a new era of stewardship) to see the positive and negative impacts of boardroom and investment changes at a club. The main protagonists are Amit Bhatia, Gianni Paladini & Flavio Briatore. Bhatia seems a level headed, passionate and realistic guy, engaged with the club and fans, Paladini a desperate 'yes man' and Briatore a monumental arse; capricious, insulting and detached.
Not just that Island.............. that's why the Greeks have so much passion about their heritage................. they just forget to pay their taxes lolI saw 'Greece with Simon Reeve' a couple of months ago, I thoroughly enjoyed it particularly where he was in Crete, I hadn't realised how barbaric the Germans had been when the occupied the Island.
