Hate it when people bang on about cup semi finals as an achievement. Loads of crap teams have got to semi finals and then finals over the past years.

Lets win the semi final before we get excited. Noone remembers semi finalists.

I think the only person who sees it as an achievement is RM.

Fear Factor

After the final 10 minutes against West Ham - where, incidentally, Martinez should take the can for bringing on Niasse when Barry, Baines, Ossie or Delo would have been more savvy choices - we've seen a fearful, frightened, caught in the lights Everton - awful beyond words against a clearly decent but wounded Arsenal and barely any better at United. Watford was tolerable but only in the sense that we weren't awful (even if the opposition were ordinary at best and on a 4 game losing streak). We'd better pray like hell that Norwich turn over Sunderland next week otherwise those last 2 games will yield nada, zippo, nothing if both of them need to beat us.. and in the meantime - Southampton, Bournemouth are in decent shape plus trips to Leicester and the Pit... and Palace need the points too..

You won't be on your own with that opinion.

As a side, there is a common view that fans who post on forums do so because they're not local and/or match going fans.

Our Liverpool traffic is very significant;

I'd guess a fair amount of that London traffic is mobile connections routed through London so could well originate from Liverpool

I remember reading an article not long ago that was talking about the geographical spread of supporters and I think they had something like 40 to 45% of Evertonians either in Liverpool or in the North-West, so GOT's reasonably representative.

GOT's probably a bit balshier than the average fan I come into contact with, but that might be down to the fact that I just attract easy going fence sitting types due to my laid back happy attitude :oops:
