Not as crazy as it sounds.

His philosophy / style call it what you like, needs the very best technical footballers to really pull it off so he could well be successful there. Everton "reluctantly" allow him to leave, Spain get something they might be happy with, we get a more suitable manager and face is saved all round.

Can't really see it happening though.

Don't see it to be honest......the Spanish FA are no mugs having said that international football is very different to club football

It`s a dead cert that Martinez is going to get canned, I cannot understand why the club would drag it out
They need to bin him off now and give us a fighting chance in the semi and until the end of the season.
No team would like to play us after canning Martinez as we would be up for it big time instead of being seen as an easy
three points, managed by this inept relegation specialist .....
is it? I wouldn't be so sure. Sadly.

It's a bit like Hoddle in a way to me. He was a perfect international manager and if he'd stayed I reckon England would have won something with him. He was just never a league manager. His total football style just didn't work in the British game.

All clubs lose players. He replaced Fellaini, Anichebe and Jelavic with Lukaku remember.

We won't lose Deulofeu or Barkley. I can't see who would buy Stones.

He'll have the money from Lukaku and Moshiri's wallet.

I don't believe he will relegate us. I personally believe if we win the FA Cup it will push us on a level.

Not sure how winning a cup will do that but fine.

Chelsea would buy stones as a long term replacement for terry. Normally I'd say no to Ross leaving but if he sees how bad things are and gets a good offer elsewhere to further his career, why wouldn't he leave? Not like things are going well here. Del will probably return to barca or not at all, which considering he hasn't been in the team for weeks and Lennon is a better alternative, there wouldn't be much interest anyway. Rom is already gone as well even before winning the magical cup that you seem to believe will convince top players to come here.

Thing is, winning the cup last time sent his team down. Winning it this time won't change anything , apart from losing one or two key players and having another excuse as to why after another years experience, his team is poor.

Oh god, here we go, some Everton lad just brought up getting Mark Hughes on talksport.
