Both are English players transferring between English clubs. For whatever reason, rightly or wrongly, that lumps a good few extra millions on top.

Regardless of how much I like Deulofeu, I do not think it's realistic to think we'd get a huge fee for him just yet. Same with Coutinho over the park.

It's basically because they try 20 shots from 35 yards every week, and they hardly ever go in. But when they do, they're repeated ad infinitum as proof that a)They are close to winning the league and b)Coutinho/Firminho/Ibe/Henderson - insert whichever fluked it in this week, is worth £60m and Real Madrid/Barcelona/PSG/Man City are interested in them.
