The longer he goes without figuring in Everton 's season the further he fails behind others looking to get to France. I'm convinced he will move on during this window, if anyone will have him given the wage he will demand. Championship and Scottish sides might struggle to justify paying him big money.

if he doesn't go now it just proves his lack of ambition as he must move to get some game time in the euros for Ireland . Problem is Roberto gave him to much money to sign and now nobody will match it . If he really is on the reported 40k a week it is an absolute joke ... We need to stand firm and let somebody take him for free - no loans - and get shot of him ... Would even be worth giving someone 500,000 to take him as only 10 weeks wages ...

Exactly how much are we paying Aiden McGeady when Celtic are acting like he's on 'Messi wages' that they have no chance of matching?

For somebody who can't get a place on the bench it's mind boggling.

That's the problem. Not worth 10k a week so no one will take him
