We just need to wait another seven years for the Barcelona bound John Stones to catch up with him then.

Doubt it would take 7 years as John seems a fast learner but not being fully developed in all aspects of their game is one of the downsides of young players.

But John is already better than Shawcross at bringing the ball out of the back which is a key part of the way we play under Martinez.

I would say that we used to sell all our best players but now that we haven't for a few years we've got a top squad. If we then sold all our best players our squad would be worse off again surely?
