Naismith 3 year extention

Yes his work rate and energy is boss, and he slots occasionally and wins a few headers but hes really poor in possesion. Gave away so many passes, has to take an extra touch at times that kills plays.

Fed up woth him and Ross in the same team, got to be one or the other, and whoever plays gotta be central

Felt sorry for Naismith getting his penalty saved. Had the bottle to step up but maybe succumbed to the antics of that dirty snide Adrian.

I would have thought Baines might have taken the 1st or 2nd one

Bottled it last night.

His passing...I dont even want to look at the stats for that, they must be absolutely shocking pass completion figures.

He's a trier alright, and God loves one of them. If he had a thimbleful of football ability outside the box he'd be a real player.

....I know Baines has an excellent record but I think I'd prefer Lukaku as our future penalty taker, it's a lot to do with confidence and Baines looks a bit nervy on them since he had one saved at United. Good pro, I wonder if he might give up responsibility.

You're the number 1 bottler in the forum Dave.

You can't criticise

Naismith's work rate & energy last night was....sigh...phenomenal (damn you Martinez)...no way can he be criticized..

To win the FA cup you need luck along the way, and we didn't get any last night...

Martinez made one mistake....and this isn't with hindsight (it was obvious first half)...mirallas should have been on at half time (clearly is WAS match fit)... Mcgeady doesn't belong in an Everton shirt, he was a terrible terrible signing (and that was all too obvious to anyone who had watched him regularly before hand)....
In an interview today Kev says he isn't and really struggled with the last 5 mins of the game.

Wouldnt get anywhere near the starting line up of any top 6 or 7 team.

Has his uses and is good to have in the squad, like fk should he be starting every single game

He isn't a wideman... That has been obvious since he got here. He is a poacher, a hard worker and a general nuisance...the problem is our squad is so unbalanced. Pienaar, mcgeady both out, atsu away(and rubbish), mirallas carted off, means he has to play there.

We need one if not two widemen in. Shape is all wrong. For all mcgeadys faults at least he stretches teams.

Naismith should be behind/ up top with lukaku or on the bench.
